Ryan Garcia is an American professional boxer. He held the WBC interim lightweight title from January to May 2021. As of October 2021, he is ranked as the world’s fifth-best active lightweight by The Ring magazine and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, fifth by ESPN, and seventh by BoxRec.

García started boxing at the age of seven. He became a 15-time national amateur champion and amassed an amateur record of 215–15.Garcia turned professional at age 17 on June 9, 2016.
