Dmitri “Misha” Collins was born in Dmitri Tippens Krushnic August 20, 1974. He is an American actor, author, producer and director best known for his role as the angel Castiel on the CW television series Supernatural (2008ā2020).

Misha Collins has been clarifying recent comments after he appeared to come out as bisexual.
He previously asked the convention crowd in a video shared on Twitter saying “By a show of force, how many of you would consider yourself introverts? How many extroverts?” “And how many bisexuals?”
The Supernatural alum, 47, apologized for “the clumsiness of my language” on Twitter after he seemingly addressed his sexuality while attending Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural Official Convention this weekend in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

As soon as he realised his mistake, he posted on his social media Monday to clarify that he’s straight but “a fierce ally” of the LGBTQ community. “I want to deeply apologize for misspeaking this weekend,” Collins started in the Twitter thread.

He apologized saying it wasn’t his intention so he decidedĀ to correct the record that he is not bisexual and also he happen to be straight, but he is also a fierce ally and the last thing he wouldĀ want to do is falsely co-opt the struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community. He also said he believed and fully support that we all need to sanctify the human right to express our identities honestly and to be free to love whomever we choose openly.

I am deeply sorry for the clumsiness of my language. I want to be a better ally and I feel sick to my stomach that I might have done anything to make things worse. Iām trying to learn, trying to do better and I will keep listening.
