Jennifer Lynn Lopez, also known by her nickname J.Lo, an American actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer, producer, and businesswoman is being sued for $150,000 Over an Instagram Photo.
J’Lo is faced in another claim for sharing a paparazzi pic on her Instagram account. Artiste have to challenge allegations in case they set out to share a photo of themselves on their Instagram page that they do not have the rights to.
A photographer by the name Steve Sandssues J. has made an allegation against the artist and actress for the use of the picture he took without permission from him, he his charging the actress a sum of $150,000 for damages. The cited photograph was released in June 2017, without permission from Sands. The photograph earned more than 656,000 Likes, and also gave Sands no pay or credit. Accordingly Sands is “qualified for legal damages of up to $150,000 per work encroached.”
Sands’ legal advisor, Richard Liebowitz, discharged an announcement on the claim to E! News, saying,
“This is a case of big names utilizing picture takers photos without consent to mark themselves via web-based networking media. The quantity of preferences the photo gets combined with their number of web-based social networking followers is a device to market their posts.”
The claim was documented in Manhattan Federal Court.
