Frank James, the gunman suspected to be of interest in the recent Brooklyn shooting
Frank James was suspected as a person of interest in the Brooklyn mass shooting.Frank James, age 62, was identified by police as a person of interest in the attack in Brooklyn. He recorded and uploaded dozens of lengthy diatribes on race, politics, and gun violence to a YouTube channel under the username prophetoftruth88 , with more than 300 subscribers.
Ten people were shot, with five listed in critical but stable condition during the mass shooting that occurred, officials said. ThirteenĀ other people were injured either while fleeing the scene or from smoke inhalation.
The police traced a U-Haul van linked to the attack and named Frank James, who was said to have rented the vehicle, as a person of interest. Police said they donāt know if Frank James, had any connection to the attack.

The van was found on Tuesday afternoon. It was about five blocks from a subway station. The suspect is believed to have entered before riding it to Brooklynās 36th Street station.

A credit card bearing Jamesā name was also found as well, but it was said that he rented the van in Philadelphia. Police urged the public to come forward with any information about his whereabouts and had offered a $50,000 as reward for information.
New York Mayor Eric Adams said he would double the number of police officers patrolling the subway system. He also said at the evening news briefing that the scourge of gun violence remained an American problem that needed widespread political action to rein in.
